Addon 1 — AI Visa Assistant

What It Does

Adds a floating AI chat bubble (bottom-right corner) on every page of your website. Users can ask any visa-related question and receive instant AI answers — visa requirements, document checklists, processing times, fees, and travel tips. Powered by OpenAI GPT-4o / GPT-4o-mini via the AIVisaAssistantService.

The AI is pre-prompted as “VisaNir AI Assistant — an expert in international visa requirements.” It recommends official embassy websites when unsure, and formats answers with bullet points for clarity.

Installation Steps

1. Go to Admin → Addon Manager and click Upload Addon. Select ai_visa_assistant.zip → click Install.
2. After installation, find AI Visa Assistant in the addon list and toggle it ON. The API key field will now appear in Admin → Addon API Settings.
3. Go to Admin → Addon API Settings → AI Visa Assistant. Paste your sk-... OpenAI key → Save. If you deactivate the addon, this field hides automatically.

What It Does

Sends automatic WhatsApp messages to applicants when their visa status changes, appointments are scheduled, or a new application is submitted. Uses the official Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API v18.0 via WhatsAppNotificationService — no third-party tools or monthly subscriptions required.

Installation Steps

1. Go to Admin → Addon Manager and click Upload Addon. Select whatsapp_notifications.zip → click Install.
2. Find WhatsApp Notifications in the addon list and toggle it ON. The Token and Phone ID fields will appear in Admin → Addon API Settings.
3. Go to Admin → Addon API Settings → WhatsApp Notifications. Paste your Access Token (EAAxxxx...) and Phone Number ID → Save. If you deactivate the addon, both fields hide automatically.

General Installation Guide

Installing any addon takes under 60 seconds. Follow these steps:

1. Open Admin Panel → Addon Manager
   Navigate to yoursite.com/admin/addon in your browser. You will see the Addon Manager page.
2. Upload the addon ZIP file
   Click “Install New Addon”, select the ZIP file from the individual-addons/ folder (e.g., ai_visa_assistant.zip), then click “Install Addon”.
3. Toggle the addon ON
   After installation the addon will appear as Inactive. Toggle the switch to ON to activate it. The page will update instantly without reloading.
4. Enter your API key (if required)
   Go to Admin → Addon API Settings. Only active addons show their settings here. Enter your API key and click “Save All API Settings”.

API Settings — Security Note

After activating an addon, enter its API credentials at Admin → Addon API Settings. Only active addons display their settings fields — deactivated addons are hidden.

Important: All API keys are stored in your server’s .env file — they are never exposed to users or stored in the database. Keep your .env file private and never commit it to version control.

Q: Can I use these addons on any hosting?
A: The addons work on any PHP-compatible server. Free installation support is only available for cPanel-powered web hosting. If you are unable to install, please contact us.
