Doorman - allow PrestaShop customers to log in without a password

Allow your customers to log in without a password

Introducing a module designed to streamline your customers’ login experience by eliminating the need for passwords.

Once a customer with a valid account tries to access your store, the module generates a one-time link, enabling seamless login with a single click. This convenient feature particularly benefits returning customers prone to forgetting their passwords.

By integrating this module, you significantly enhance and simplify the login process. Your customers no longer need to fret about creating and remembering new passwords repeatedly.

The module adds an extra button to the login form, visible on both the main login interface and the initial checkout step. Moreover, it integrates seamlessly with the password recovery form, providing comprehensive coverage. If there’s a preference not to display the button in any of these locations, you can easily configure this in the settings.

Customize the link’s validity duration according to your preferences. Moreover, the module tracks the frequency of customer logins through this method, providing insights into its usage.

Check if the module fits your store

To see if this module is a good match, access your shop’s email logs (Advanced -> Email) and filter them using the ‘template’ column. Enter ‘password’ as the filter criteria in this column to find instances of password-related communications. This step helps you understand how often customers request password recovery.
