WooCommerce OCI connects your WooCommerce shop to SAP procurement systems through the SAP Open Catalog Interface (OCI). A buyer working in SAP (SRM, ECC or S/4HANA self-service procurement) “punches out” into your shop, builds a basket as usual, and the items are posted back into the SAP shopping cart — including material number, price, currency, unit, lead time and vendor data.

The plugin supports OCI 2.0 up to OCI 5.0 and ships with a backend setting so you can pick the version that matches your SAP release (SAP ECC EHP6 … S/4HANA).

How it works (in short)

1. A buyer in SAP starts the external catalog. SAP calls the OCI Gateway page of the shop and passes USERNAME, PASSWORD and HOOK_URL.
2. The plugin authenticates the user, remembers the HOOK_URL for the session and redirects the buyer into the shop.
3. The buyer shops normally and proceeds to checkout — which is redirected to the OCI Checkout page.
4. The OCI Checkout page renders the basket as a hidden NEW_ITEM-* form and posts it back to SAP via the HOOK_URL. The items appear in the SAP shopping cart.
